We Rock....Again!
It’s summer again, and of course, we’re back with our Camp Rock gang for another memorable summer. After the first summer, each camp rocker went back to their own lives: Mitchie going on to junior year, Connect 3 making more hits, and would you know, Tess going on tour with her mom, the famous pop star TJ Tyler.
But now they’re reunited in Camp Rock, and aside from celebrating music, they face yet another season of drama and challenges.
It’s been obvious that Shane and Mitchie liked each other from the start. Even after camp, while Mitchie went back to high school, Shane, with his busy schedule, tried his best to keep in touch when time allowed it—but are they really an item? Both aren’t sure about how one feels for the other, so they’re still dancing between the fine lines of friendship to something else. To top it off, being a celebrity, Shane’s being rumored with other girls, including Tess. Not only that, some of Shane’s fans who happen to be in Camp Rock too seem to be giving her the cold shoulder because of Shane’s special treatment towards her. It’s certain that this summer won’t be easily forgotten for them….but would that be meant in a good way or bad?
Now that Tess has changed from being the mean queen to a nice girl, she’s become even more popular, and her mom, TJ Tyler, even decided to bring her on tour to spend more time with each other, establishing her roots as an upcoming pop sensation. But in order to be famous, you’ll need lots of publicity, and so one way or another she became romantically linked to Shane Gray on TV. But Tess knows Shane and Mitchie like each other, and she wouldn’t want to break that, but deep inside she knows she’s crushing hard on Shane too. Moreover, the constant pressure from the public for her to be exactly like her mom and surpass her success is coming on to her. Can Tess warm up to showbiz’s challenges or will she freeze back to her old self?
Aside from Shane, Nate Gray’s popular in his own ways. He’s cute, witty, talented, and has a mob of fans that go crazy over his curly hair and a nice guy who’s a heartbreaker all the same. Unlike Shane who hates being herded by fans in person, Nate loves the attention. His superstar status and dazzling ways win the hearts of many girls but later break them. Meet Isabella Padilla however, a sassy girl with a passion for music, and who’s probably the only girl who isn’t in love with Nate. An awkward first meeting occurs and they already hate each other. Will they cause chaos in Camp Rock, or will their love for music bind them together and prove the adage true that “the more you hate, the more you love?”
Jason Gray's the oldest in Connect 3, but not exactly the wisest. As he goes back to Camp Rock to be a guest instructor, will he be able to partake campers with words of wisdom and relive his Camp Rock summers all over again?
Caitlin Geller’s been a long-time Camp Rocker. She’s made many friends over the years, but she has one problem: she hasn’t won a single Final Jam. Caitlin’s very talented, but she’s had a number of bad experiences with each year’s Final Jam, like being disqualified, and she’s more determined than ever to change that. Will her confidence and competitive nature get in the way of her friendships, most importantly with Mitchie’s?
The Camp Rock gang’s back and they’re better and closer than ever. But with most of them caught up in their individual dramas, and the coming of new players on the scene, will this make or break friendships? And aside from Connect 3, everyone’s expected to step up their game this summer to achieve one goal: to win the Final Jam. Because this year, Final Jam is even bigger, because not only do they get to win a huge trophy, but this time, they’re offering a one-time only opportunity: snag a record deal with Connect 3’s music management!
This summer is even more exciting. Will you be part of it?
