Ritchie
Caitlyn
Zane
Ritchie smiled at Zane and nodded. She was hungry, so she would probably make her way down there soon. "I'll meet you there Zane" She said to the boy. She then looked back at the girl taking her hand away awkwardly. "And, if you ever want to speak with me I can usually be found in cabin 13, the lake, or maybe the kitchens" She said to the other girl with a warm smile.
With that she just gave a small smile to the girl and watched another person do their song on stage. The boy did a rap, it wasn't too popular among the others at Camp Rock, but rap was more then just a way of talk singing, it took more talent then most of the people out there could even think. Ritchie knew this from personal experience of trying it. Rap was definitely hard when you were thinking it up on the spot. Singing is usually well rehearsed but you could rap anywhere at any time with no notice at all. She had to admit she admired low key rappers more then the rich ones with no talent at all.
She closed her eyes sighing and decided to make her way to the mess hall. She walked toward Caitlyn. "I'm going to go to the mess hall," She said with a nod. The girl wasn't sure if Zane would mind having friends come along and she thought about it. "If you want to come that's fine, but I'll meet you there whenever you come anyways" She said with a nod. Ritchie started walking off the stage and looked toward the lake then sighed, she was going to go straight to the mess hall, and refused to be wet for it. She started jogging toward the cafeteria with a sigh.
Zane waited at the cabin, while his roommate that took the 'detour' changed and showered. He looked at the sky, and was left alone to his own thoughts. He hated it for a while now, he got up and began to put his mind on music. He hits his head as he couldn't focus. He couldn't focus on much these days, he saw his roommate come out. He looked at how he was more dressed up than before, he said "You mind if I ask out Natasha." Zane looked at him surprised and said "Go ahead." He sighed.
They all met up at the next cabin over, and began to walk toward the mess hall. They laughed as they began to talk, about several aspects of each others lives. Zane felt at peace being around noise, he thrived in it. Or maybe it was other things like attention almost everything he did was for it., swimming, making friends, music, girls. There was nothing he liked to do that didn't involve attention. He sighed once more before separating from his thoughts and rejoined the conversation. The group of them made it to the mess hall, they all sat at a table one side leaving room on the whole other side of the table.
Girls, came over and talked to his roommates, apparently everyone thought he was taken, from how much time he spent with Ritchie. She was a good and cool person to be with, you would be stupid not to hang with her. But, he did get bored waiting for Ritchie to come, so he got alot of salad and a soda and began to eat. He finished that really quick as his smoker's stomach came into play making him more hungry. He distracted himself by starting to sing Jesse McCartney leavin.
Ritchie jogged toward the mess hall and frowned, she forgot her shift. She totally forgot that her and Mitchie were supposed to be there rather then the Jam, that would be why she wasn't there. The girl groaned as she opened the door. She quickly made her way inside, hopefully Mitchie and her mom wouldn't be too mad. Although, if they were she could somehow find chocolate, or something.
The girl looked at where Zane and his friends were, she saw girls around all the boys except for him. This was most likely her fault, she heard all the rumors going around. Everyone thought they were a couple, sure she liked him as more then a friend but she didn't need to just have a summer fling at a music camp. She could, but there wasn't much use if she wasn't going to see him again except maybe the next year. And that was only a maybe, if her mother gets the job again, if they both decide to go, and if neither of them decide to do something else.
Ritchie walked over to Zane and the rest of the group. "Hey" The girl said with a smile. She vaguely met the others in his cabin. but other then that they barely knew each other at all. She looked at them with a raised eyebrow, all of them looked like they were doing something like a fight. She didn't say anything to them just laugh. The girl looked at Zane with a sorry eyes. In reality, she was sorry, just not as much as she's leading to believe. She didn't mean for rumors to come when they started hanging out, but that's just how it happened and they were just going to have to live with it. Or at least deal with it for the rest of the summer. Ritchie looked at the plate in front of her and started to put food on it, the only thing about having a cook for a mom was you start eating alot, Ritchie didn't gain much weight, but that was only because her metabolism adapted to what she ate and how much.
Zane Young looked up and saw Ritchie heading for the table. He smiled inside, though covered his face with a friendly smile above all else. He was getting bored though he was never bored around her. He watched as she got something to eat as he left also to get a refill on food. He got two slices of pizza, another salad some bread and another soda. He began to eat it as his smoker's hunger would not allow him to wait for food much longer. He made sure he kept the symtoms down to where only his legs were shaking. He pretended not to notice himself being alone.
As Ritchie sat down, he waved to her and said "Hey, Ritchie didn't expect you to come so soon, wheres your friends at." He said generally curious. As he refocused on the great food saying "Why your mom only works here, I know most of my chefs aren't this good of a cook." He said truely meaning it, as he barely raised his head only to breath and look over at Ritchie. His friend was flirting with Natasha as Zane had help him figure out what she liked and things like that.
Ritchie smiled at him. "You mean Caitlyn? I told her she could come, but I guess she was going to meet me here" The girl said looking around the place, anywhere but Zane really, but using the fact that she was looking for Caitlyn was a good excuse. The girl shook her head more to herself. She should have brought Caitlyn with her and asked Annette to come, but Annette didn't look like the kind to actually eat that much let alone go to the mess hall.
The girl brought some pizza to her mouth then looked at Zane with wide eyes noticing that he knew more about her and her family then she did about his. She choked slightly and coughed a little bit going for her water and sighed. "You have chefs?" The girl asked amazed and slightly jelouse. It would be nice to have chefs, but her mom basicly was one. "You know, you're kind of quiet when it comes to your family," She said thinking about that fact. "What are they like?" She said with a smile, intent on the answer.
Caitlyn hadn't really heard what Ritchie had said because she had been talking to Sanders. But, she soon realized that she was wicked hungry. Hey guys, I'm going to get something to eat. Talk you guys later ok? Caitlyn said as she hurried off to go to the dining hall. As she rean through the crowds, Caitlyn though she caught a glimps of Ritchie, so she went to catch up. Going into the dining hall, Caitlyn grabbed a yogurt and granola and headed to find a seat.
Then she noticed that boy, and Ritchie. Sliding into the seat next to Ritchie she said Sorry it took so long! her smile was warm with an apology. Caitlyn should have came earlier, not later. Although she knew that she heard her name somewhere in the mix of things!
Zane looked at her once before taking a bite out of his food, he slowly chewed while listening to her question. He thought about how to explain his situation with his parents in a delicate way. He really disliked speaking of or to them to be honest. He finally got his thoughts correct when he saw Caitlyn coming, he waved to her and said "Hey Caitlyn." Though he knew nothing of her, except that she was in the classes that he taught. Zane glanced over to his friends, they were all perfectly comfortable in their lives or at least looked like it.
Then, he remembered Ritchie's question and said " I have to little sisters, one of them is named Kiara shes personally the sweetest of my sisters, and my personal favorite. Then, their is Ashley, and she is like me when I just hit puberty, trying to grow up too fast and already trying to run the school she's in." He paused his parents were the hardest part, he sighed and looked a Ritchie. Then, started to say "My parents before when we were just rich, cared about us and what we did, but now that we are really big New York elite they could careless, which is why after Camp Rock i'm moving out and finding somewhere to stay. I don't know where I want to go, but if all else fails I'll probably move to
Hollywood." He said looking at Ritchie, hoping she didn't hate him for not telling her he was rich.
Ritchie looked at Caitlyn with a smile on her face. "Hey Caitlyn" She said with a large grin on her face. "'t's no problem" The girl said not pronouncing the I in it's. It was something she did, her speech wasn't well established and it bothered some people because it wasn't because of a speech impediment, it was just because she was lazy.
The girl nodded when Zane was talking about Kiara, but when he got to Ashley she gave a small chuckle. She gave a nod when he talked about his parents, he didn't seem to like his parents too much. Ritchie shrugged it off, it was just a vibe that he gave. She thought she could probably offer to help, but Zane was independent, and didn't seem like the kind of guy to even agree to her help. But really, what did she know? "That's really cool, but why didn't you tell me before?" She asked. The girl wasn't mad, it was just a question.
Zane looked at Caitlyn, then moved over to Ritchie. He began to think about a old Jesse McCartney song Because you live which was really random in his opinion. He shook his head and played with his messy locks of hair. He stood up and said "I'll be right back." he said hearing her question after he was back at the food, picking up a salad and another soda, he wasn't drinking them because the guys planned something later for lunch to do with them. He smiled at the thought and sat back down ready to answer her question.
"To be honest, you haven't asked about my family before so I had no reason to bring them up." He said cooly, and being honest about it. He felt like swimming, as he ate the rest of his salad. He was a simple person with simple needs, music, girls, swimming and food. He dusted himself off and stood up. He said to both Ritchie "I'm about to go swimming you can come if you want." He said doubting they would but it would be rude not to offer.
